The song comes from Disney’s 2013 animated film “Frozen”. In 2016 the digital track of the song became second on the list of all-time best-selling Christmas/holiday digital singles.
The heroines of the film are Elsa and Anna. Elsa has ice powers and without meaning to do it, she harms her friend Anna. After the incident, she decides to lock herself in her room. Anna is the one singing in the song, trying to persuade Elsa to get out and play together again. The lyrics tell their story as 5-year-olds, 9-year-olds and teenagers.
The music and lyrics were written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Arrangement Details
This is an intermediate to advanced arrangement, quite demanding in both its melodic and rhythmic elements. The score is addressed to rather experienced students and musicians. Seven musicians are needed, with musical instruments distributed as follows:
- Glockenspiel (1 player)
- Xylophone (1 player)
- Vibraphone (1 player)
- Marimba (5 octaves, 2 players)
- Wind Chimes, Wood Block, 1 Timpano E2 (1 player)
- Triangle, Suspended Cymbal, Bass Drum (1 player)
Mallets players require more skills, while xylophone has the singer-role, playing the main theme.
